It has a unique design. Inside the Heroon there was supposed to be a figure of a hero, which archaeologists have not yet found. What is surprising is that the hero is in a narrow room – you cannot go inside and contemplate the hero, he is obscured from view by the walls outside. Scientists are still trying to unravel the meaning of such a construction, which has no analogues in ancient cities.
